Add/Change Students window
Purpose
Use this window to add student records to a customer account or update the student records associated with a customer account.
To access this window
Complete one of the following to access this window.
- On the Modules menu, point to Scheduling and click Add/Change Schedule Student.
- Use the keyboard shortcut Alt, M, H, D.

Item descriptions
Item | Description |

(account) |
Displays the customer name. Click to view the account name, address, and other demographic information including phone numbers and email. Right-click in this box to copy the address or phone information to the clipboard. |
Acct# | Displays the account number associated with the selected customer. |
Sub | Displays the sub-account number for the student. This number is automatically generated by AIMsi. Student numbers are a combination of the account number and a sub-account number. |
Last | Displays the customer's last name. |

Select Account# to move through student records (using the Next, Previous, Top, and Bottom buttons) in order of account number. Select Last Name to move through student records (using the Next, Previous, Top, and Bottom buttons) in order of last name. |
Student Name | Enter the student's name. |
Level | Enter the student's skill level, if applicable. This may be any 1-3 character alpha-numeric value (such as 1 or BEG). |
Organization | Enter the organization this student belongs to, such as a school, if applicable. |
Birthdate |
Enter the student's date of birth. To quickly enter today's date, press T on your keyboard. To quickly back-date or forward-date by one day, use the Hyphen key (-) and Equal key (=) on your keyboard (alternatively, use the Minus Sign and Plus Sign keys on your keyboard number pad). To quickly back-date or forward-date by one month, use the Page Up and Page Down keys on your keyboard. This box supports F6 functionality; the Choose Date window opens. |
Notes |
Enter comments about the student. Press F4 on your keyboard to automatically add the date, time, and your user name to the note. This box supports F6 functionality; the Select Comment window opens. |
Credit Card/Type/Exp |
Displays credit card information (card number, card type, and expiration date). These boxes only display if OpenEdge or Vantiv is selected in the Auto/Web Pay Gateway box on the Workstation window - CC tab. |

Copy Name |
Populates the Student Name box with the name on the customer account. Displays after you select a customer on the Pick Customer window. |
Next | Displays the next customer/student record based on your selection as a Navigation option. |
Previous | Displays the previous customer/student record based on your selection as a Navigation option. |
Top | Displays the first customer/student record based on your selection as a Navigation option. |
Bottom | Displays the last customer/student record based on your selection as a Navigation option. |
Edit |
Displays the Edit Credit Card window where you can enter credit card information. This button only displays if OpenEdge or Vantiv is selected in the Auto/Web Pay Gateway box on the Workstation window - CC tab. |
Save |
Saves any changes you've made to the student record. This button only displays if you've added or edited a student. |
Cancel |
Cancels any changes you've made to the student record. This button only displays if you've added or edited an absence reason. |
Find |
Displays the Pick Customer window where you can select a customer to find that customer's associated students. |
Delete |
Deletes the student record. |
Add |
Clears the window so you can add a new student record. |
Exit |
Returns to the previous window. |
